The HL8529 module is part of the HL Series
offering unprecedented scalability between 2G, 3G, 4G and
LPWA networks and is pin-to-pin compatible with all HL variants and
the WP Series.
3G technology is proven, reliable, widely deployed, and
offers greater longevity compared to 2G while remaining relatively
inexpensive compared to deploying on 4G LTE networks.
This embedded module delivers up to 21 Mbps download speed
on AT&T's 3G network and is ideal for IoT applications not
requiring broadband connectivity such as point-of-sale or ATM
terminals, building automation, rugged handhelds and toll
collection to name a few.

The HL Series development kit provides all the
tools and accessories you need to test concepts, deliver
prototypes, or develop a product with the HL Series modules. The
snap-in connector provides users with flexibility in prototyping
and configuration. This development kit is also compliant with
RoHS, and comes with accessories including a main RF connector,
diversity 4G RF connector antenna, GNSS connector antenna, and one
full speed USB0 or USB1 connector.
